He has been featured in music videos, on the Travel Channel, A&E, City TV’s Breakfast Television, E! Entertainment Television, The Toronto Sun, The Globe and Mail, Report on Business, Restaurant News, Metro News, Bar and Beverage, FoodService News, and many more. He can be seen on world championship competition DVD’s, and he continues to train and compete with the world’s finest bartenders. Gavin’s monthly column “Raising the Bar” is read by more than 20,000 people every month in the Food Service News. He also co-authored Maran’s Illustrated Bartending – the bestselling complete home bartenders guide available at bookstores everywhere in 2006, and content for pocketcocktail.com the latest iPhone application. Gavin worked with Wyndham Hotels to design, build, stock develop menus and train staff as the executive bar chef at Toronto’s Synergy Bar and Bistro at The Wyndham Garden. He has developed training programs and menus for A-list clients all over North America. Gavin is the Director of Operations of BartenderOne Corp and The Movers’n'Shakers, Canada’s Largest Team of Bartenders for Hire.
